What is Breathwork?
I teach a 3-part pranayamic breathwork technique that promotes emotional release. A heart opening practice,, Breathwork helps return us to our home vibration of love, joy and clarity. This transformational breath technique is a form of active meditation that is deeply healing. There's no need to think thoughts here or to mentally go over your painful stories - it's time to just breathe and let the body do the rest! Incredibly supportive for conscious storytelling, Breathwork helps to stop our minds from looping on unhelpful narratives caused by stuck energy in our bodies.
How can I try it out?
I currently hold my private appointments out of Benk + Bo in London E1. To schedule an appointment, please email me at email@example.com. I will then reach out to you within 24 hours to give you more information / to book a time with you. For my international and UK clients, privates can be also be held virtually over Zoom. "The Breathwork session I had with Lucy was beyond words. I am still feeling the positive effects and cathartic release after having session with her a few weeks ago. What happens during the session...
The Breathwork session begins with a chat to discuss what energy you would like to shift / heal or move towards. You will then lay down and engage in 35 minutes of active breathing. I will support and guide you through the breathing process. Plus there will be a cosmic soundscape, essentials oils and the burning of sacred herbs to support the journey. There will then be 10 minutes of rest. Private appointments are 75 minutes in total. Within group sessions we breathe and rest for the same amount of time but the total session time is 2 hours, so to allow everyone to check in and receive guidance & interaction. I am certified as a Level 3 Breathwork healer by David Elliott. Both David Elliott and Erin Telford are my teachers - and are full time Breathwork healers based in the states. David Elliott is the head of the David Elliott Breathwork school and runs an international teacher training Breathwork course out of Los Angeles, Joshua Tree, New York and Italy.
